As usual, it went on for ages and nothing happened and I lost interest - not in Alex, I hasten to add - that's a well drawn, funny, intelligent piece of cartooning - but turning a page of newsprint's so much more fulfilling. And quicker. Do I think an animated Alex does its job any better than the still version. No. I haven't got an iphone either. Oh God, I think I'll ring Dignitas. On my non - iphone.
